A Special Feature: My Work in DOCU Magazine’s Special Edition
Every photographer dreams of seeing their work showcased in a way that truly honors their vision, experiences, and artistic journey. For me, that moment has arrived in an exciting and deeply meaningful way—my photography is being featured in a special edition of DOCU Magazine! This incredible opportunity allows me to share some of my most cherished images, taken during my travels, with an audience that appreciates the depth and storytelling behind documentary and fine art photography.

DOCU Magazine has long been a platform that celebrates visual storytelling, highlighting artists who capture the world through compelling imagery. The magazine’s special editions are curated collections of powerful photographs, selected to showcase the unique perspectives of photographers around the globe. Having my work included in one of these editions is more than just an accomplishment—it’s an opportunity to connect with a wider audience, inspire others, and contribute to a visual archive of meaningful moments.
Photography, for me, has always been about more than just the technical aspects of an image. It’s about the story within the frame—the emotions, the fleeting light, the way a place or moment speaks to the soul. To have DOCU Magazine recognize my work and see value in my photographic storytelling is an honor that reaffirms my passion and dedication to this craft.
A Collection of Travel Images That Tell a Story
The images featured in this special edition of DOCU Magazine are not just photographs; they are visual narratives from my travels. Each image captures the essence of a place—the spirit of the landscapes, the cultural richness, and the quiet, often unnoticed moments that make travel so transformative.
From the Rugged Coastlines of New England to the Sand Dunes of Michigan
Many of my travels have taken me to places where nature meets solitude, where the land tells its own stories through textures, light, and movement. The Rockport, MA coastline, with its rugged cliffs and ever-changing tides, has been a source of endless inspiration. I’ve captured the Headlands, the buoys bobbing in the harbor, and the timeless charm of Motif #1, each image infused with the mood of the moment—sometimes serene, sometimes dramatic.
Equally breathtaking are the sand dunes of Michigan, an unexpected wonderland of shifting landscapes and golden light. These dunes, sculpted by time and wind, hold an almost otherworldly beauty, and photographing them has been a meditative experience. My images from Michigan highlight the interplay between texture and shadow, revealing the vastness of the land and the intimacy of its details.
Infrared & Black and White: A Different Perspective
Some of the images featured in this edition also include my infrared and black-and-white photography, which offer a new way of seeing familiar places. Infrared photography transforms landscapes into something surreal—trees glow with an ethereal light, skies deepen into rich contrasts, and the world feels both foreign and familiar at once. My black-and-white work, on the other hand, strips away distractions and allows the raw emotion and composition to take center stage.
The Northern Lights in Rockport: A Rare and Unforgettable Moment
One of the highlights of my featured collection is an image from the Northern Lights over Rockport, MA—a rare and awe-inspiring moment that I was lucky enough to witness and capture. Seeing the aurora borealis dance above the coastline was nothing short of magical, and being able to preserve that moment through my lens was a gift. This image, now part of the DOCU Magazine feature, is a reminder that photography is not just about documentation but about the deep, personal connection we form with the scenes we capture.

I am continuously exploring new locations, pushing creative boundaries, and seeking out the extraordinary in the everyday. Whether it’s through upcoming workshops with Ann Lang Mun Co, capturing the delicate balance of light and texture in fine art portraiture, or diving deeper into astrophotography, my journey as a photographer is always evolving.
