One Of My Favorite Breakfasts: Bagel With Cream Cheese. I am the worst at eating breakfast. It’s not that I don’t want to; it’s just that I can never seem to get myself organized in time. And then I always eat something convenient, fast, or unhealthy. It is something I need to work on. So I started looking for quick and easy meals that make breakfast easier for me. Here is one of my favorites: A Bagel with cream cheese. It takes just a few minutes to make and is so filling and delicious!
I’m a big fan of bagels, and I love having them spread with garlic and fine herbs. I often feel guilty when I eat one because of all the carbs in them, but I love them, so I sometimes have to give in! With that in mind, I thought I’d share one of my favorite ways to eat an everything bagel – with an everything bagel with Boursin’s Garlic and Herb spread.
The garlic flavor works well with the plainness of the bagel, and the added herbs give an excellent subtle seasoning to the cream cheese. The Garlic and Herb Boursin Spread is fantastic on pretty much anything – on sandwiches, crackers, and even spreading it on toast for a quick and easy snack. While it tastes great on its own, I think the combination of flavors it brings to the Everything Bagel makes it extra special.
For those who don’t know, Boursin is a French cheese made mainly of milk and cream from cows’ milk. It’s very creamy and has a lovely soft texture and mild flavor, which is the perfect match for the delicious blend of herbs and spices used in the Garlic and Herb Boursin Spread. When I saw the Boursin Garlic and Herb Spread for the first time at my local supermarket, I just had to give it a try! I wasn’t disappointed! The flavor is just unique! The combination of herbs and garlic works well and gives it such a remarkable flavor that you’ll want to try it on everything!
When you pick it up from the market, make sure to let it get to room temp before serving; sometimes, it is too hard to spread right away due to it being cold from the fridge. But if you let it warm up a little, it works much better, making it extra smooth and creamy and adding extra flavors from the herbs.
Pair it with a cup of tea or your beverage choice, and you’re good to go!
