Dressed up Ramen Recipe, A Flavorful Twist with the Fixings

Ingredients
  

  • Your favorite ramen noodles 1 pack
  • Your choice of broth or water
  • 4-5 shiitake mushrooms thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • Hot Sauce optional
  • 1 egg
  • Dash of sesame oil Optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of water/broth to boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  • While the noodles are cooking, dice up the shiitake mushrooms, chop the scallions, and pick a hot sauce.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, add the seasonings and mix well.
  • Add in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until they become tender and release their flavors into the broth.
  • Serve noodles in a bowl, and crack an egg immediately into the hot broth, allowing it to poach for a few minutes until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny.
  • Then generously topping them with chopped scallions and hot sauce
  • Drizzle a light amount of sesame oil over the dressed ramen for added depth of flavor (optional).
