Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons ginger minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 Thai chilis finely chopped (adjust to your desired level of spiciness)
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 scallions thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dry pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • A pinch of MSG Umami optional
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  • Add the minced ginger, garlic, and finely chopped Thai chilis to the skillet. Sauté the ingredients for about 2-3 minutes, until they become fragrant and slightly browned.
  • Add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, scallions, dry pepper flakes, pepper powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  • Stir everything together until well combined, and let the mixture simmer for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Enjoy the sauce!
